Click here to see if your technician is licensed. Unfortunately, with the the gain in popularity of Eyelash Extensions, there is a rise individuals claiming to be "official" or "certified". However, they are not licensed by the board of cosmetology. This means they have not undergone the 800 plus hours of training which includes proper sanitation procedures that must be followed when working on the public. By law, licenses must be placed in the establishment in plain sight. If you don't see one, don't be afraid to ask. It is illegal in Arizona for any salon, spa, or individual to perform this service to the public if a state board license has not been granted. |
